Katie is a specialty-trained vestibular physical therapist which is a specialised area of physiotherapy rehabilitating symptoms of inner ear disturbance. Symptoms include dizziness, spinning, nausea, fatigue and general imbalance. The goal of your treatment plan is to improve your ability to function in activities of everyday living, reduce your risk for falling and ultimately, improve your quality of life.

What is acupuncture and how does it help?
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. Katie holds a Masters in Acupuncture and uses it in her treatment alongside Western medicine as part of an integrated approach. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain and increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management.
